Facilitation

If you're looking for someone with plenty of facilitation experience, look no further. I've facilitated new hire classes, up-skills, and refreshers in-person and virtually. A couple fun things I've done:

• Facilitated two dozen classes in-person and virtually at Venmo
• Piloted Venmo's first part-time new class not tied to a site, leading to this type of class being adopted across PayPal

Content Creation

I also create content: eLearnings, presentations, user guides, games, quizzes, job aids, videos, you name it!

• 81 weekly refreshers created for teammates in production at Raise Marketplace between February 2016 and February 2018
• The Venmo-Amazon integration training I created went out to over 650 teammates!

Training the Trainer

I take the same care I do with teammates with my fellow trainers. I ensure they don't feel overwhelmed learning the ropes and that they come out on the other side confident and excited to teach.

• Traveled to train trainers (say that five times fast!) in Peoria, Illinois, Chandler, Arizona, and Manila, Philippines
• Virtually trained trainers located in Bogotá, Colombia and San Salvador, El Salvador
• Developed Venmo Chicago's first training apprenticeship in 2021

Project Management

I meet with stakeholders and discussed the logistics of new trainings; I'm often looking at competing priorities and skillfully deliberating on what is most important to complete. I even helped with the logistics of our first training class in Mexico!

More recently, I have been working with Jira and its available automations to coordinate with stakeholders, SMEs, and others engaged in training.

Administration and Documentation

I also have documentation experience! I create facilitator guides for our trainers, update our internal training knowledge base, keep new hire content current, and organize team files. I am happy to learn any new tool, but I have the most experience with:

• Workramp
• Confluence
• ​Jira
  
• Sharepoint/One Drive
• Google Drive

Other Skills

• Curriculum/Agenda Building: I helped transform our curriculum for virtual learning when we switched to operating remotely, and I built the syllabus for the first Venmo Chicago apprenticeship.
• Interviewing: I interviewed prospective teammates when employed at Raise Marketplace, and I interviewed candidates for Venmo Chicago's training internship.
• Quality Assurance/Coaching: I conducted Quality Assurance checks on teammates, cataloged teammates' numbers, and coached them on how to reach their numbers.

I got to train the very first Venmo classes in Ciudad de México!
